A body found in the backyard of an abandoned Providence home, is believed to be that of a missing autistic teen from Worcester.

A cadaver dog from The Rhode Island State Police helped find the body of a male this afternoon on Wesleyan Avenue.

Police say the body, which was found in a storage container, had been there for a while. Detectives from four different departments began scouring the area on Wesleyan Avenue after getting a tip from Cranston Police that a body may have been dumped there.

Assisting in the search, was Massachusetts State Police, because according to the Worcester District Attorneys Office, the male body is believed to be that of Joseph Webster, a 19-year-old autistic man who went missing from Worcester last month.

The house where the body was found, is not far from the apartment of the two suspects who were charged in the teens disappearance.

19-year-old James Howze and 22-year-old Lara Cori were arraigned yesterday on charges connected to Webster's disappearance.

Prosecutors say blood and a shovel were found at a motel where the suspects were seen, the same hotel where Webster was last seen. Motel 6 on Route 9 in Northborough. Prosecutors say Howze later tried to sell Webster's car in Providence.

Both Howze and Cori were charged with assault, battery with a dangerous weapon, and larceny of a motor vehicle. Both are being held on bail.

Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early released a statement saying; "we hope the extended Webster family can bring their son home."

The Rhode Island Medical Examiners Office is conducting an autopsy on the body. The case is still under investigation, and more charges could come about soon.
